The Sit and Climb ended up being so comfortable and easy to pack that I sold the Hand Climber seat. I bought the top half of a Sit and Climb for long sits and planned to use the Hand Climber for short sits/long hikes to the stand. Leaning more towards the Lone Wolf. Problem is that it's a hand climber and may be tougher for her to climb with vs something like a summit where you sit and climb. Have not used my climber since I bought these 3 or so seasons ago. Looking at a climbing stand as I don't want to use my hang on stand and get in trouble. Or prefers a different climber. Best feature is how quietly I can move it in to position to use or to push it against the tree silently(I stand 75% of the time I'm hunting) I do use Lone Wolf hang ons for certain set-ups , but 90 % of the time I'm in the woods woith bow in hand I will be in one of my Open Shots. Love the hand climber stand, but if you are not in shape, older, or not real cooridinated, the sit and climb style would be the way to go. Might as well spend a couple hundred on a stand then a ticket right. Makes putting the stand up easier as I dont have to support the stands weight while attaching to the tree. I just got the lone wolf hand climber this year.. its hands down better than my old loggy. Also, lone wolf makes a bracket you hang the stand on. While i love the lone wolf hand climber i have, i can see it being more difficult as I get older. I will try to allocate funds to maybe purchase a lone wolf climber hopefully find a used one.
